Judiciary most corrupt: TIB

Dhaka, Dec 22: The judiciary appears to be the most corrupt among the service sectors in the country, reveals a Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) perception index based on a household survey.
A staggering 88 per cent of the respondents said they were victims to some sort of corruption when they sought any service from the judiciary. Parcel bomb attacks hit Rome embassies

BOMBS exploded last night at the Chilean and Swiss embassies in Rome, injuring two people, as authorities feared a new spate of parcel bomb attacks.
A parcel bomb delivered to the Swiss embassy in Rome exploded in the hands of a mail worker who opened the package, seriously injuring the man in what Italy's foreign minister termed "a deplorable act".


There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
